12/9 Girls - Entiat
Coach Toolson reports:
Entiat 51 – Manson 27
Manson matched up against Entiat for the second time in 10 days, this time on the Tiger's home court. I had hoped to be more competitive this time and I think for the most part we were. Entiat won the game 41-27. We kept it close for a quarter but the Tigers went on a big run in the second quarter when they went into a half court trap that caused us to turn the ball over a few times resulting in easy baskets for them.
Manson also used a half court trap that caused some turnovers on their part as well. The girls are showing a lot of aggression and tenacity which paid off with better rebounding and more turnovers from Entiat.
Abby Bridgewater played in her first game and did a good job defending the middle and getting some nice drives to the basket. We missed Ofelia Rodriguez who was out with a sprained ankle. Sierra Miller tweaked her wrist but toughed the game after wrapping and icing it.
Our next game is against Waterville at home on Saturday. We appreciate the support from fellow students, parents, and community members.
