Abby Phelps breaks loose for a team high 8 points against Lake Roosevelt.

Turnovers turn over Lady Goat 2-game win streak

Based on the following statistics, the Lady Goats turned the basketball over to Lake Roosevelt’s girls 20 times and found themselves back on the losing side of a basketball game. Fortunately, the 48-39 loss to the Lady Raiders was in non-league action.

All but Emily Schramm got on the scoreboard for the Lady Goats with Abby Phelps leading the Chelan scoring effort with 8 points. Courtney Dietrich had 8 rebounds, but only 4 points. Danielle Smythe had 7 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals on the evening.

The Lady Raiders only committed 9 turnovers and had two players in double figures; forward Dominique Pleasants had 17 points and her teammate, center Roweena Antone came up with 15 points.

Chelan travels to Cashmere for more CTL action on Tuesday, February 1.
