The Manson Lady Trojans traveled to Thorp/Easton for what was a very competitive game.  After a rough first inning, the girls got serious and began to make some great plays.  All of their hard work is beginning to pay off!  Hailey Ellsworth was back on the mound; an injury kept her from pitching the past few games.  Ellsworth struck-out two batters and kept the offense on their toes while pitching two shut-out innings.  Defensively there were some mental errors which allowed some runs to score.  The Trojans finally got into a rhythm and starting making some great plays and had two excellent innings back-to-back.  At the bats, Amanda Buck hit a triple to score our only 2 runs.  Sierra Miller hit two singles which gave the team a great boost!

We look forward to playing Thorp/Easton at home in a double-header on Saturday.  The Lady Trojans are hopeful that we can get our first league win.  If we all come to play ball we can accomplish this goal!
