The Chelan Soccer Team has been highly successful this year and continues District play in Cashmere on  Tuesday, May 11

Soccer team wins first District game 4-0

The Chelan Soccer team played the Bridgeport Mustangs in the first playoff game of the season, coming up with a 4-0 win. The game was played at Sargent Field on Saturday, May 8.

Both teams played hard, but Chelan prevailed with Omar Prado starting Chelan’s scoring off in the 14^th minute of this game. The second Chelan goal came only 10 minutes later when Guada Cardenas scored off an assist by Pardo.

Sophomore Isaac Perez scored the third goal in the 36^th minute and Junior Captain JJ Ramirez finished the scoring in the 78^th minute of the game.

Jorge Villasenor and Ruben Medina split the game at goal.

Chelan plays Cashmere in its second playoff game on Tuesday, May 11, in Cashmere.
