Chelan golfers are enjoying a winning season.

Chelan outstrokes Quincy on the Golf Course

The Chelan HS Golf team hosted Quincy at Lake Chelan Golf Course on Thursday, Apr.15.  Freshman Ian Cowell of Chelan was medalist for the boys with a score of 85 (41-44), followed closely by senior teammate Derek Brunner with an 86 (45-41). 

All 6 Chelan varsity boys players came in with scores lower than the nearest Quincy player, with the Chelan team winning with a 359 to Quincy’s 456. 

There were no girls’ team scores as neither team had enough girls for a team score.  Sophomore Lexi Burchett of Chelan, playing in her first match of the year, shot a 131 to lead all girls.
