Aaron McQuaid nailed a game high 23 points to lead the Chelan Goats to a victory over the Omak Pioneers on Friday.
Chelan jumps on Omak 76-42

Chelan traveled to Omak on Friday night, February 5, and took on the Omak Pioneers, beating them 76-42.
The win should keep Chelan in the number one spot on the AP Coaches poll ahead of Granger, who took over second place last week and Vashon who now sits in third after their one loss.
Aaron McQuaid was on fire as he pumped in 23 points to lead the team in this victory. He was followed by Joe Harris who had 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block and 4 steals on the night. Michael Amsel Jr. continues to be a dangerous shooter for the Goats and came up with 13 points from the guard position. Matt Engstrom added 6 points, pulled down 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists.
Chelan will face Cascade next Tuesday in Leavenworth and will finish off its regular season play against 10th ranked Okanogan on Friday, February 12, in front of a home crowd.
GoLakeChelan will webcast this game on the internet and Channel 16.
