Photos of May 3-4

More changes in Chelan and continued improvements. I took the below photos on May 3&4, 2006.

This is the back entrance to the Culinary Apple complete with minature of the awaning which is on the Woodin Ave. entrance. The store is OPEN and the Kitchen Station store location is closed.

Some of the lamp posts in downtown Chelan are getting repainted but they are still BLUE. Appears I might need to use photoshop on these photos to see if I can get the color to show up better.

Guess this shows the color a bit better but I have a lot to learn about Photoshop.

If you want to find out some of the things coming up in the Chelan area one place to look is the corner of Johnson Ave. and Columbia across from the Chamber of Commerce office. Much more information about activities can be found at the Chamber website CLICK HERE.

Pedal Paddle Bicycle Shop has moved to The Chelan Plaza on the Manson Hwy.

The corner of Woodin Ave and Columbia St. continues to be upgraded. Todays photos mostly shows the asphalt recent work done by Basin Asphalt Company. I have taken lots of photos of this site over the last couple of months.

The Chelan Mayor Jay Witherbee announced at the last council meeting that more parking would be created at Riverwalk Park on Emerson Street. Below is one photo of the grass strip that will be turned into asphalt.
