Fire Department Called To The Cabanna Today
Chelan Fire Dist 7 was called to the Cabanna Complex in Chelan before noon today after smoke was reported coming from one of the 'Units' on the 2nd Floor.
The Cabanna is located across from Don Morse Park, on the Chelan-Manson highway, and is across the street from Company Creek Pizza.
As you hear in this audio/visual report there was water and smoke damage; the fire started from a microwave. And no one knows why.
MEMORIES FROM STATE TOURNAMENT
When Dave Rogge and the rest of the GoLakeChelan crew headed to Yakima and State, no-one anticipated the problem that Dave encountered. For some reason his internet connection at his hotel wouldn't let him up-load his video files.

SPRING FLING: Saturday, March 14th, 8 PM at Campbell’s Lodge. Tickets $20. Proceeds go to our downtown flower beautification efforts and can be considered a donation.
The BAND: The awesome band is the J-Byrds.

AND THEN THERE'S THIS OOPS - Your Webmaster (Jerry Isenhart) pressed the wrong key on his computer today and managed to send an Email to all 1800 names in his address book. YEOW - I am so sorry ... We were testing a new product and wanted to send an email to a few of us and I accidentally hit the wrong key. It was all over . There was nothing I could do except cringe, and graciously apologize to those who wrote to ask why. But what about those who didn't? That's the purpose of this story. I didn't want to send ANOTHER EMAIL to everyone to say 'Ooops - I'm sorry. You can be sure - it won't happen again. ~ Jerry Isenhart
